Seared Halibut
with Avocado Mango Salsa
1 Lime (juice only), divided
1/4 c Extra virgin olive oil
2 T Fresh cilantro, chopped and divided
1 tsp Chopped garlic
1 tsp Ground cumin
1/2 tsp Chili powderlb Extra lean ground turkey
1/2 c Frozen chopped onion
1 tsp Ground cumin
2 tsp Chili powder
16 oz Can white beans, drained
14 oz Can corn, drained
14.5 oz Can chicken broth
4 oz Can diced chilies
1 lb Halibut fillets or steaks
1 c Diced mangos
1 Medium ripe avocado, peeled, pitted and diced
1/2 c Diced red onion
1 Jalapeno pepper, seeded, diced (optional)

In a small bowl, combine lime juice (reserving 1 T), oil, 1 T cilantro, garlic, cumin and chili powder. Place halibut in a shallow dish; pour marinade over fish, turning fish to cover both sides. Set aside. In a medium bowl, combine mango, avocado, onion, jalapeno, reserved lime juice and 1 T cilantro. Heat large skillet over medium high heat. Add halibut and marinade. Sear halibut on both sides; reduce heat to medium and continue cooking until an internal temperature of 145 degrees is reached. (about 10 minutes per inch of thickness). Serve salsa over halibut.
